Published: 13 January 2015

AGUThe Joint Assembly meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) will be held in Montreal, Canada, May 3-7, 2015. The event will host over 2,500 participants and will feature diverse presentations covering all areas of the geosciences.
Of interest to the ARM community will be a special session titled “three-dimensional radiative transfer in the Earth and atmospheric sciences,” which will include information regarding recent advances in radiative transfer in the presence of 3D spatial variability, focusing on, but not limited to, the atmospheric sciences. Organizers are particularly seeking submissions that include reports on theoretical, computational or even experimental topics, especially if they address applied problems in energetics or diagnostics.
The deadline for abstract submissions is January 14, 2015. For more information regarding submission guidelines or the AGU membership requirements, visit the Assembly website.
