  • Fire and Climate 2022 in Pasadena, California: this meeting will be a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting from May 23 to 27, 2022
  • Fire and Climate 2022 in Melbourne, Australia: this meeting will be held in person from June 6 to 10, 2022

Abstracts are solicited on a wide range of topics centered on the interactions between fire and climate, including:

  • Impacts of Climate Change
  • Indigenous Knowledge, Fire and Climate
  • Infrastructure Resilience
  • Fire Behavior
  • Smoke Transport and Air Quality
  • Carbon Cycle and Greenhouse Gas Emissions

  • Impact, Consequences, and Recovery
  • Fire Ecology
  • Firefighter Health and Public Safety
  • Fire Impacts on Wildlife
  • Climate Policy and Wildfire Resilience

Abstract submissions will be open until January 15,  2022, for Pasadena and January 31, 2022 for Melbourne.
