The International Association of Wildland Fire has announced the Call for Papers for the Fire and Climate 2022 conference. Abstracts are now being accepted for two meetings:
- Fire and Climate 2022 in Pasadena, California: this meeting will be a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting from May 23 to 27, 2022
- Fire and Climate 2022 in Melbourne, Australia: this meeting will be held in person from June 6 to 10, 2022
Abstracts are solicited on a wide range of topics centered on the interactions between fire and climate, including:

- Smoke Transport and Air Quality

- Fire Impacts on Wildlife
- Climate Policy and Wildfire Resilience
Abstract submissions will be open until January 15, 2022, for Pasadena and January 31, 2022 for Melbourne.
