Description

The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Southern Great Plains (SGP) Site has been in operation for 26 years. This poster provides an update on the SGP capabilities and new instrumentation. The SGP is comprised of 28 instrumented locations including an extensively instrumented SGP Central Facility (CF) located near Billings, OK. SGP operates instruments for in-situ and remote sensing observations that are made available through the ARM Data Archive. In 2017, SGP supported numerous field campaigns, most notably Land Atmosphere Feedback Experiment (LAFE) and Cross Scale-Land Atmosphere Exchange (CSLAEX). Details will be provided regarding current instrumentation, access to the data, and opportunities for scientists to propose instrumentation and field campaigns at the SGP.
