Postdoctoral Research Associate – Large Eddy Simulation Modeling of Boundary Layer Transport

1 January 1970 - 1 January 1970

The Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks a postdoctoral research associate to improve understanding of interactions between turbulence, clouds, and aerosol in the marine environment using high-resolution large eddy simulations. The successful candidate will implement new modeling approaches and conduct modeling experiments and analyses using a novel, advanced large eddy simulation model. Proficiency in high-performance computing and strong programming skills, as well as expertise in modeling and analysis relevant to turbulence, clouds, and/or aerosol are desired. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to advance knowledge of how aerosol populations mix and evolve in the marine boundary layer.
