Climate Measurement Facility Internship (ARM Related)

Interested in the earth’s climate and how we make measurements of it? Join our team to learn how we support climate science by making state-of-the-art measurements of our atmosphere. The Earth System Observations Group in the Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has an opening for an internship with the Field Instrument Deployments and Operations (FIDO) Team. We support the US Dept. of Energy’s ARM scientific user facility by deploying atmospheric research instruments to field locations located around the globe. You will gain experience in project planning and management, hands-on work with sophisticated instruments, opportunities to solve mechanical and electronics problems, and get to work with a world-class research facility.
