A busy summer continues for all of us here at ASR, and we are sure that it’s likewise busy for you and your research teams. The big news to share is the awarding 26 new research ASR research projects.

The Joint Meeting was a success because of your participation, your enthusiasm, and the professionalism with which you presented your work. Thank you.

With the ARM/ASR Joint Meeting coming up in just a few weeks, now is the time to plan ahead to make the most of it.

ASR program managers are getting ready for the virtual Joint Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) User Facility/Atmospheric System Research (ASR) Principal Investigators Meeting and are looking forward to seeing you online.

It may seem early, but we want to remind you to start thinking about progress reports and no-cost extension requests if you have an ASR project with a project period end date during the summer.

It is hard to believe another year is coming to a close. Yet, here we are just days from Thanksgiving, and one short week from the 2020 AGU Fall Meeting.

We are excited by the recent Department of Energy announcements for funding of both ASR science and for the DOE Office of Science Early Career Research Program... This is also the time of year that we’re all getting ready for AGU. If you are presenting at this virtual event, please be sure to let us know! One of the best ways to draw us and others to your AGU session is to be highlighted on the ASR website. It is a meaningful way that we track scientific impact.

It has been an eventful past couple of months. Despite working from home, for us all, life seems busier than ever. We partnered with the ARM for a very successful virtual Joint Meeting, and we welcomed 31 new ASR projects.
