Post-Master’s Internship (ARM and ASR-related)

Eligible applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, technology or a related field, awarded within the last three years; a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; and have not yet been accepted into a graduate program.

What You Will Do

• Support FIDO’s US Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility operations, working in partnership with technical experts from across the global climate science community
• Install, operate, repair and maintain meteorological instrumentation and instrument systems
• Assemble, repair and design equipment
• Create project deliverables using GIS mapping and drafting software
• Participate in special projects and other tasks, as assigned
