DOE’s Research Development and Partnership Pilot is Big News!

Published: 1 March 2022

We are busily working on the proposal review process, so we thought we would keep things short this month.

Our big news this month is that the Earth and Environmental Systems Sciences Division launched a new funding opportunity: the Research Development and Partnership Pilot (RDPP)!

See the story for details, but briefly, this opportunity will offer new grants to colleges and universities that are underrepresented in DOE’s climate, Earth, and environmental science investments. The program is designed to help provide technical assistance to build capacity and broaden institutional participation. We are trying to reach new communities, including historically black colleges and universities and other minority-serving institutions, with this opportunity and encourage you to share the announcement widely.
