Description
In October 2013, the DMF ran ingests 167,000 times. By itself this is not helpful but knowing that in October 2011 the number was 106,000 is more interesting. Throughout the DMF systems a variety of logs and databases capture mundane information about how things are working. In November 2013, the DMF Statistics interface was created to display a large variety of items that reflect the effort necessary for maintaining the ARM data sets. This tool includes details to provide some insight into the underlying cause of the numbers (like a new site). This information is useful in planning for staffing as well as measure the benefit of improvements. Like any data set, extracting meaning is not automatic. This poster will highlight a few metrics with some explanation of their impact. http://www.dmf.arm.gov/statistics/#g/proc-runs:fac::evt-status-md:base::pkg-created:pkg::chg-dod-count:base/s/Lead PI
